Crowns

When teeth are heavily decayed they may be too weak to survive with just a filling. They are more likely to fracture and lose considerable tooth substance. The greater risk is that a fracture line may go below the margin of the gum, which makes restoration more difficult, or near impossible. By placing a crown, a tooth may be given a new lease of life.

We are very sorry that, due to COVID-19, we have had to temporarily close the dental practice for all routine dental treatment until further notice.

If you are a patient of the practice with a genuine emergency please email us on info@oldbawndental.ie leaving your name and contact details and the nature of your emergency and we will endeavour to deal with it. Please understand that we will be very limited in the treatments that we can provide.

We hope everyone keeps safe in these unprecedented times.
